Her America: 50 Women, 50 States

With a diverse group of female photographers and writers from across the country, we produced 30 photo essays to accompany our films, a photography zine, and social campaign for Lifetime’s channel.

#heramerica garnered over 100 million impressions and our Georgia story won a PDN award.

“When I’m asked ‘how can you be a Catholic and be pro-choice?’ I tell them, ‘I got my free will from God and the church doesn’t own my conscience.’”
– Bernadette

In Albuquerque, Isadora Kosofsky followed Bernadette as she volunteered at Planned Parenthood escorting women passed often violent protesters. She is also a devout Catholic attending the same mass as some of the protesters.
