Our founding partners Anne Alexander, Jessica Chermayeff and Ana Veselic bring years of experience producing documentary and commercial work.
Ana and Jessica are a creative team with over 5 years under their belt collaborating in non-fiction storytelling. They produced and directed the documentary campaign Her America: 50 women, 50 States for Lifetime. The same year they collaborated on the film Towards the North as part of Humanity on the Move a documentary series for PBS tackling the global refugee crisis. Their documentary film Kehinde Wiley: An Economy of Grace won at SXSW, received an Emmy nomination and was shortlisted for an Oscar. Individually they have produced, edited and/or directed non-fiction serial content for VICE, CNN, PBS, LMN and the New York Times as well as commercial work for YouTube, Logo, Bio, MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and A+E.
Anne is a producer and director who joined Ana and Jess as Head of Production on Her America: 50 women, 50 states. She was a key member of the production team behind Alicia Keys’ short film, The Gospel, which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival. While working for AK Worldwide she oversaw a live takeover of Times Square and produced music videos for Alicia Keys’ latest album Here. A graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, she is a frequent contributor to the New York Times Cooking vertical which recently won a James Beard Award for their series on French Classics. Her commercial clients include Jeep, Mini Cooper, Ford, Asics, Clinique, Chanel, Nordstrom, Samsung, and Mont Blanc in collaboration with the feature The Greatest Showman.
